THE FORD FIESTA has topped the new car sales chart for 2013 with 113,417 sold. It was closely followed by another Ford, this time the Focus that recorded 81,791 new owners during the 12 months of 2013. VW are taking the whole ‘Eco’ game seriously. They are rolling out ‘BlueMotion’ versions of cars across the range at regular intervals, the most recent being the sub 100g/km Golf BlueMotion. But most of these are tweaks to the suspension, aerodynamics and ECU of existing diesels to coax the best returns on emissions and economy.
The Range Rover Evoque 5-Door gets an official reveal
As is the way with the Interweb, stuff leaks out in to the big wide world. Something Land Rover found at the Paris Motor Show this year when they brought along a Range Rover Evoque 5 door to show off on the quiet. They had no intention of showing it at Paris – it was supposed to be, and still will be, the Land Rover star for the Los Angeles Show this month.
